Even though Tokyo is so densely populated and busy it still retains a level of intimacy with the tiny bars and restaurants scattered all around the city.
This was shot in Shibuya, just two minutes from the iconic (and incredibly busy) Shibuya crossing. I was introduced to this little area by Ioan who has lived in Japan for two years, I might have otherwise missed it, even though it is so close to one of the busiest tourist spots in Tokyo.
I found wee places like this all over Japan, they are so small it's almost impossible to not get chatting with people.
